Without question, Debbie Kruck is STILL the most famous fitness competitor in the short history of the sport, and that fame goes well beyond the few shows she won in the early days around 1990. After winning a few shows before ‘the new criteria’ for fitness was established, she entered and did poorly in some of the pro shows, because she was too muscular! Too bad, as she to this day is the best ambassador the sport ever could have had. She remains in contest shape year-round, and her constant visits to the northeast have helped to make her our and WPW’s most frequently photographed/videotaped fitness woman ever, and we never minded the development at all!
Though she is being pushed to the limit muscularity-wise by some of the newer women we would be hard pressed to name on woman who is truly fitness who has reached a higher level of physical development. Her arms are still the best, lean, wiry and peaked, and her triceps, chest and back poses are right up there as well. The overall look — facial beauty and hair style — are impeccable as always, and Debbie always has a great looking selection of outfits to pose in. This work was done in 1998 when she was very leanly muscled and defined.
