Every year in the New Jersey area promoters sponsor the Women’s Extravaganza to determine the strongest woman bodybuilder in the world. In this 1991 version, 14 national caliber women bodybuilders performed chin-ups, dips, curls, bench presses and squats to determine the 1991 champ. Some of the better known women competing were Raye (Zapp) Hollitt, Claudia Wagner, Drorit Kernes, Rachel Mathias, Sally McNeill and many others. The only contest of its kind in the world, seeing very strong bodybuilders trying to outlift each other for prize money and the title!!
